SELF-CATERING

The Cloister Flat, is a one bedroom apartment located on the ground floor of the main house. The flat has easy access to the cloisters and patio area where there is a table and barbecue for al fresco meals.
The living area has a sofa bed, 2 armchairs, chest of drawers and granite window seats. The traditional furniture is locally made, some hand painted. The kitchen area is hidden from the living room by curtains and contains a sink, refrigerator, a two-ring hob, microwave, and table for four.
The small bedroom with a double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe looks onto the cloisters. The bathroom is decorated with blue and white Portuguese wall tiles.

The Gatehouse. For guests who prefer an extra degree of privacy, the Gatehouse is above the main gate to the patio and cloister gardens and has an independent entrance. Brian Gallie, with his naval background, designed the Gatehouse along nautical lines.
"Above deck" the living space is divided into a small double bedroom and a living room with a sofa that can be used as a single bed, plus a table and chairs. Sleeps 2.
The two terraces fore and aft, afford a 360-degree view of the Quinta and have tables, chairs and a barbecue.
The galley kitchen, with a sink, gas cooker and fridge, and the shower room are "below deck" on the ground floor. A sliding hatch protects the external steps from an unexpected shower! Free WiFi in the main house.
